Laurel Sumac (Rhus laurina)

Description:

This fast growing tree has red-green foliate and clusters of small white flowers. Laurel Sumac is more properly described as a shrub, but in the coastal regions of southern california this plant can grow to more than 15 feet. If given a good source of water, it can grow 10 feet in a single season.
